Welcome to Edheads!
Edheads is an online educational resource that provides free science and math games and activities that promote critical thinking. Choose from Simple Machines, Virtual Knee Surgery or Stem Cell Heart Repair, among others. All activities meet state and national standards.
We partner with corporations, universities, and school systems throughout the United States, which help us research, design, and test our activities every step of the way. Not only do teachers and students appreciate our free activities, Edheads has been recognized by almost every major award on the Web for our excellent educational content.
So click the "Choose an Activity" tab at the top of the page to dive into an activity and let the fun and learning begin!

Edheads is working hard to align our content with the new Common Core Standards. We should have everything up to date by the end of this month. In the mean time, if you have questions, please feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or you can post your questions in the Teacher Resource Center at http://edheads.org/community.
We are also working to add new worksheets and quizzes to the surgery games that do not already have them. Check out the Teacher's Guides associated with all our activities by clicking on the link just about the 'start' button.
Many of you have been asking how to play our games on mobile devices. Given the size of our games, we don't really recommend playing them on phones. If you have an Android, iPad or similar device, you can now play our games by downloading the free Puffin browser here. The Puffin Academy screens all content available to K-12 audiences and only allows educational sites that register with them to be seen by students. It's a safe, secure way to share great content with students.
Science literacy matters in the work place, in polling booths, and in communities facing tough decisions. Edheads is committed to helping prepare future scientists as well as individuals in other fields that are scientifically literate, regardless of income, geographical area or school district. Please help fund our mission of providing high end, free science games to all. You will be supporting students, teachers, after school groups and families who need or enjoy our content. Our online giving site is safe and secure, and your gift will go to work immediately to support the more than 12 million people who use our activities each year. Even a $5 donation is important as it can provide our Simple Machines activity to over 2,000 elementary students.
Won't you join us in promoting science learning today?
